Don’t Let Your Opponent Win

Posted on Updated on

I can’t help but wonder how many opponents have won because you and I chose to give up something.

We give up writing and somebody else wins the contract.

We give up time and somebody else gets the sleep.

We give up using our imagination and somebody else fills the gap that we could have.

We give up sometimes too easily which gives an easy victory to an opponent.

However, there are times our biggest opponent is ourselves and our small thinking.

We think we can’t, so we don’t. The pessimistic side of us wins the victory over the optimistic side.

Stop letting your opponent win. Sit down and write.

You CAN do it. You DO have something to say to the world.
