Keep Clam

Sometimes the easiest fixes to our writing can be found by a simple proofread. While I am not endorsing the idea that you edit, reedit, and re-reedit AS you are writing, I am saying that reading what you have written aloud or just a thorough reading can be extremely beneficial.

So, what are you waiting for? Pick up that pen, pencil, or keyboard and get going!

My co-workers will tell you I have a firm belief: There’s no such thing as the last typo. You can keep looking forever, and there will always be one you missed. That doesn’t mean you don’t have to kill as many as you possibly can, though. Proofread, then proofread again. And again.
